City by city
Casablanca
Many trips to Morocco begin in Casablanca, and a luxury car rental in Casablanca, with a driver, takes care of the first hour after a long flight. Mohammed V International Airport (CMN) is in Nouaceur, about 30 km south of the city, and has two terminals, so add your flight number and check yours on ONDA's airport page before you travel.
In the city, a hotel entrance is the simplest pickup for meetings, dinners or a full day that takes in the Hassan II Mosque, built partly on land reclaimed from the Atlantic. Beyond it, the motorways do the work: Rabat is about 87 to 90 km north on the A1, around an hour, and Marrakech about 225 to 235 km from the airport, 2.5 to 3 hours on the A3.
Marrakech
Menara Airport (RAK) lies only about 3 to 3.5 km from the city center, ONDA says. Hotels in Hivernage, Gueliz and the Palmeraie have drive-up entrances; for a riad inside the medina walls, where cars cannot go, the pickup is at the nearest gate, or bab. A 4x4 rental in Marrakech, always with a driver, suits the High Atlas and the road south.
Tangier
For a luxury car rental in Tangier, name Ibn Battouta Airport (TNG), your hotel or your ferry port: sailings from Tarifa dock at Tangier Ville, near the medina, and most from Algeciras at Tanger Med, east of the city. Chefchaouen is about 2 hours away.
Agadir
Luxury car hire in Agadir (a luxury car rental in Agadir, in US terms) can start at Al Massira Airport (AGA), outside the city, or at a seafront hotel. Marrakech is about 250 km away, 2.5 to 3 hours on the A7.
Rabat
A luxury car rental in Rabat can start at Rabat–Salé Airport (RBA) or your hotel. The capital, a UNESCO World Heritage city since 2012, is about an hour from Casablanca on the A1.
Fes
No car can enter the Fes medina, inscribed by UNESCO in 1981, so riad guests meet their driver at a gate or at a hotel outside the walls. Fes–Saïss Airport (FEZ) lies south of the city; Meknes is about an hour away.
Any other city
Essaouira, Chefchaouen, Ouarzazate, Merzouga or a small town: name the city and the pickup point, and we confirm availability there.
Which car suits which trip
| Trip | Car type | Why |
|---|---|---|
| City and business days | Premium sedan | Smooth on boulevards and motorways |
| The Atlantic coast | Premium sedan or large SUV | Motorway legs and a mild coast, about 18–28 °C in summer |
| Mountain roads | Large SUV or 4x4 | The Tizi n'Tichka pass, around 2,260 m, and snow around 2,000 m |
| The desert | 4x4 | Long legs; the last 40–60 km to Erg Chigaga are 4x4 track |
| Families and groups | Luxury van | Travelers and bags in one vehicle |
Why a car with a driver
Beyond the motorways, being driven changes the trip:
- Medinas. Old-city lanes are closed to cars, so your driver drops you at the gate and leaves with the car.
- Parking. No hunting for a safe overnight space for a high-value car outside the walls.
- Mountain roads. The N9 crosses the High Atlas by the Tizi n'Tichka, around 2,260 m, and winter snow and rockfalls close the pass from time to time.
- Night driving. Unfamiliar roads and medina gates are harder to find after dark.
- Long days. The road from Marrakech to Merzouga covers about 550 to 560 km, or 8 to 10 hours at the wheel before any stops.

Frequently asked questions
Can I rent a luxury car without a driver?
No. Morocco Royale arranges luxury cars with a driver only, in every city in Morocco. We do not offer self-drive rentals, so every car you book comes with a professional driver.
Can the driver meet me at Casablanca airport?
Yes, name it as your pickup point. Mohammed V International Airport (CMN) lies about 30 km south of Casablanca, in Nouaceur. It has two terminals, so add your flight number and terminal to the inquiry form.
Can I book the car by the hour or for several days?
Yes. In the inquiry form, tell us whether you want a single transfer, the car and driver by the hour, a full day or several days, and we confirm availability for your dates.
Can the driver drop us at a riad inside the medina?
At the nearest gate. Most riads in the walled medinas of Marrakech and Fes sit on lanes no car can enter, so the car stops at the closest bab and you go the rest of the way on foot, often with a riad porter and a luggage handcart.
