The drive out of Agadir into argan country — the Souss plain is the heartland of the argan tree, and we stop at a women's argan oil cooperative to watch traditional hand-pressing and buy culinary and cosmetic oil at source. It is the most authentic shopping of the day and directly supports local producers.

From the Agadir Oufella kasbah hill above the bay — the old hilltop fortress site looks down over the crescent beach, the marina, and the port. It is a driving stop, not a hike, so it suits every fitness level, and late-afternoon light over the Atlantic is the best time for photos.

Can we combine sightseeing with beach time?

Easily — Agadir's sheltered crescent bay is the calmest big beach in Morocco, far gentler than the wind-blasted Atlantic further north. Since the tour is private, we can end the day with a couple of hours on the sand or at the marina promenade; just tell your driver in the morning.

Only mildly — like everywhere in Morocco, souks and small shops quiet down from late morning to mid-afternoon for Friday prayers, so on a Friday we schedule market time for the late afternoon and use midday for the kasbah viewpoint, the coast, and the argan cooperative, which stay open.

Is this a good tour for families with children?

Yes — it is one of our easiest days: short drives, a beach city, goats-in-argan-trees photo stops on the Souss roads, and no long medina marches. Child seats are available on request at booking, and the pace is entirely yours.
