No — summiting Toubkal is a separate one- to two-night trek and, since 2018, it is mandatory to climb with a licensed mountain guide, enforced at gendarmerie checkpoints above Imlil (carry your passport in the area). This day tour does what is genuinely allowed and lovely without all that: village walks around Imlil and Aremd, waterfall paths, and valley viewpoints.

Only moderately — the standard day involves gentle village and valley walks of one to two hours on dirt paths, and every walk is optional and adjustable because the tour is private. Mules can be hired locally in Imlil if anyone's legs give out. Tell us your preference and we will pitch the walking accordingly.

Yes — the road to Imlil stays open in normal conditions, and the snow-capped peaks over walnut groves are the postcard view from December to March. Trails above the village can hold snow, so winter walks stay low and short. Bring warm layers and expect a fireside lunch rather than a terrace one.
