About This Tour
Escape to Essaouira, the Atlantic port that stays cool and breezy even when Marrakech bakes. Watch the late-morning fish auction on the working quay, walk the Skala de la Ville ramparts, browse the thuya-wood workshops of the UNESCO-listed medina and lunch on the day's catch at the port grills. En route, stop at a women's argan-oil cooperative — and keep an eye out for goats climbing the argan trees. One note: the trade winds blow hard from April to October, perfect for kitesurf photos, less so for beach lounging.
