From 2,500 MAD per vehicle for a full day (approx. 9 hours) in an air-conditioned minivan seating up to 5 guests. Groups of 6–9 ride a minibus for a 2,000 MAD supplement. The price covers vehicle, driver, fuel and door-to-door riad pickup; entrance fees are extra (Bahia Palace 100 MAD, for example).

Do I need to book Jardin Majorelle tickets in advance?

Yes. Majorelle sells timed tickets online only — there is no ticket office at the gate, and visitors without a valid QR ticket are turned away. Book the first slot of the day (garden plus YSL Museum from around 220 MAD) and note the YSL Museum is closed on Wednesdays.

What is the best order for a one-day Marrakech itinerary?

Majorelle at opening, then Bahia Palace, Ben Youssef Madrasa and the Saadian Tombs, with souk time after lunch. Finish at Jemaa el-Fnaa — the square only comes alive at dusk when the food stalls fire up. Skip souk shopping on Friday mornings; many stalls stay shut until mid-afternoon prayers end.

Is the driver also a guide inside the medina?

No. Your driver handles the vehicle, logistics and every stop reachable by road, and waits while you explore. The medina lanes are pedestrian-only, so for guided commentary inside add a licensed local guide through our Marrakech walking tours.

Which Marrakech tickets should I book before the tour?

Jardin Majorelle and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum sell timed tickets online only — there are no gate sales, and visitors without a valid QR ticket are turned away. Is Friday a good day for this tour?

Yes, with one adjustment. The souks go quiet from late morning until around 14:00–15:00 for Friday prayers, so we front-load palaces and gardens and save the souks and Jemaa el-Fnaa for the afternoon and evening. Monuments like Bahia Palace and Jardin Majorelle are open as normal.

When is the best time to see Jemaa el-Fnaa?

At dusk — by day it is mostly a hot, open square. Food stalls start rolling in from about 17:00 and the square peaks after sunset, so we schedule it as your last stop. In the evening crowds, agree a price before any henna design or photo with performers, and keep valuables zipped.

How much should we budget for entrance fees?

Entrance fees are not included and are paid in cash at each site: Bahia Palace 100 MAD, Ben Youssef Madrasa around 50 MAD, and Jardin Majorelle plus the YSL Museum from about 220 MAD (booked online in advance). If you visit all of them, budget roughly 350–400 MAD per person and carry dirhams — card terminals at monuments are unreliable.

Can we go inside Koutoubia Mosque?

No — like almost all mosques in Morocco, Koutoubia's prayer hall is closed to non-Muslims. The gardens and exterior are free and best photographed in early morning or golden-hour light. For a comparable interior, Ben Youssef Madrasa is fully open to all visitors.

Is this tour suitable for young children?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the vehicle and itinerary are private, so we can add nap stops, shorten walking stretches, or finish early. Request a child seat when booking and tell us the ages. Inside the medina, lanes are cobbled and crowded, so a baby carrier works far better than a stroller.
