About This Tour
Four days from Marrakech to the great dunes of Erg Chebbi and back, with your own driver and vehicle the whole way — no shared coach, no fixed group. Day one climbs the 2,260 m Tizi n'Tichka pass into the High Atlas, drops to the UNESCO ksar of Aït Benhaddou and film-capital Ouarzazate, then follows the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs to an overnight in the Dades gorge. Day two walks the Todra oasis, crosses the fossil towns of Erfoud and Rissani, and reaches Merzouga in time for a sunset camel trek into the sand and a night in a Berber desert camp — dinner, drumming and a sky full of stars. Day three is unhurried: sunrise over the dunes, a 4x4 desert circuit, nomad families and Gnawa music at Khamlia, before a westward drive to break the return, with a third night in a kasbah town such as Ouarzazate or Dades. Day four re-crosses the Atlas to Marrakech by early evening. We deliberately split the drive back rather than forcing one nine-hour haul, and your driver stops for photos and adjusts the pace to your group. A 4x4 Land Cruiser is available on request for the desert sections. Prices are per vehicle for your private party.

Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation up to 7 days before departure; because this is a multi-day trip with pre-booked accommodation and desert camp, cancellations inside 7 days may incur a charge. A deposit secures the dates.
Accessibility
A driving-intensive trip with long stretches on mountain switchbacks and, in the desert, soft sand and rough piste. Reaching the ksar at Aït Benhaddou means crossing a riverbed on stepping stones and a steep, uneven climb; the Todra Gorge walk is flat but on uneven ground. Mounting and riding a camel requires reasonable mobility (a 4x4 transfer to camp can replace it on request). Desert nights are cold in winter and midday heat is extreme in summer. From November to March, snow can close or delay the Tizi n'Tichka pass at short notice, which may force a reroute or itinerary change on Day 1 or Day 4 — we check road status the day before.
